This 4.5-hour Jeep tour through Arikok National Park takes you to three swimming stops: the Natural Pool, a unique rock-formed basin; Fontein Cave, where you'll see centuries-old carvings; and Baby Beach on the island's east side. A live English-speaking guide drives the 4x4 through rocky terrain, handles the route and timing, and shares Aruba's cultural history along the way. Morning and afternoon departures are available. The Experience

The tour starts with a 30- to 45-minute drive into Arikok National Park, where the Jeep tackles rocky trails and you get your first look at the island's interior landscape. The guide navigates the terrain while you take in the scrub and rock formations that define this part of Aruba. Once you reach the Natural Pool, you'll see why it's named that: a rock formation creates an actual pool where you can swim, surrounded by the coastline and boulders. The water is there because of the rocks. It's not a typical beach.

After the Natural Pool, the drive to Fontein Cave takes about 15 minutes. Inside, you'll find ancient Indian drawings on the cave walls: the real history of Aruba before tourism. You'll spend roughly 30 minutes exploring the cave and learning what the guide knows about the people who left those marks. This is the stop that changes how you see the island. Most visitors don't expect to walk into a space with that kind of age attached to it.

The final leg heads to Baby Beach on the east side, a 30-minute drive from the cave. You get another 30 minutes to swim and cool off before the tour wraps. Bring a towel, sunblock and sunglasses. The Jeep is open-air and there's no shade on the drive. The guide provides ice water and refills, and you're welcome to bring your own canteen. Goggles and dust masks are available for purchase if you want them for the cave or the rough terrain.
