Aruba Island Tour: Lighthouse, Bridge & Beach Swim
Four stops across the island, ending with a swim instead of a drive back.
A full-island tour of Aruba starting on the west coast and ending on the east, with stops at the California Lighthouse, gold mill ruins, the naturally carved Natural Bridge, and a refreshing swim at Baby Beach. The guide speaks English or Spanish, pickup is included, and children from age 4 are welcome. The tour runs four hours and covers the whole island in one loop.
Step-by-step itinerary
Full island tour with swim
- Visit California Lighthouse
- See gold mill ruins at Bushiribana
- Explore Natural Bridge
- Drive through San Nicolas
- Swim at Baby Beach
The Experience
The California Lighthouse marks the start, standing at the northwest point where the sea's cool breeze rolls in and the West Coast unfolds with its high-rise hotels and palm-lined beaches. From there the route moves inland to the Bushiribana gold mill ruins in the desert northeast, then to the Natural Bridge—a limestone formation carved by the sea and one of Aruba's most visited attractions. The day ends at Baby Beach on the east side, where shallow waters make for a refreshing swim before the return.
A local guide leads the whole route and handles the driving, so you move from one side of the island to the other without navigating or planning stops. Bottled water and snacks come along, and the tour includes time to actually swim at Baby Beach instead of just passing through. Pickup and drop-off are arranged, and the guide speaks English or Spanish.
The route also passes through San Nicolas, Aruba's Sunrise City, so you see how the island shifts from the resort west coast to the quieter east. Four hours is enough to hit all four main stops and still have time in the water, but not so long that the day disappears into the tour.
