The Experience
The tour starts with hotel pickup and moves straight into open-air vehicles built for the terrain. You'll cross Aruba from the rocky North Shore down through the island's interior, passing Frenchman's Pass, Red Anchor, the San Nicolas Street Art district, and the California Lighthouse before reaching Arikok National Park. The park covers nearly 20% of the island and holds dramatic desert landscapes, towering cacti and volcanic rock formations that frame the stops ahead.
Inside Arikok, you'll walk through one of the park's caves to see ancient Arawak pictographs carved into the rock: a direct line to the island's pre-Columbian history. The Natural Pool (Conchi) comes next: a secluded swimming spot ringed by volcanic formations and open to the Caribbean, where you can swim or snorkel in clear water. Baby Beach follows, a white-sand lagoon where you can lounge, swim or snorkel again. The Donkey Sanctuary and Black Stone Beach round out the stops, and lunch is included partway through the day.
Snorkeling equipment is provided, and the guide is English-speaking and local. Someone who knows which stops matter and why. Water and cool drinks travel with you. The return to your hotel is by bus. Most locations on the route accept cash only, so bring extra for restroom use or any activities you want to add on your own.
