Climb volcanic rock, jump into a hidden pool, and snorkel where red starfish cover the seafloor

A private off-road tour of Aruba with a live guide, hotel pickup and snorkeling gear included. You climb Casibari Rock for island views, swim and cliff jump at the Natural Pool, drive past Goldmill Ruins and Alto Vista Chapel on the scenic north coast, and snorkel at Tres Trapi, a rocky cove where hundreds of red cushion starfish lay on the seafloor. The tour runs 4 to 5 hours and suits children from age 4 onward.

The Experience

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel and heads to Casibari Rock Formation, where you climb the big rock for panoramic views of the island and walk around ancient Indian paintings. A bar at the site lets you grab a drink or snack before moving on. From there, the route takes you to the Natural Bridge, a limestone arch that collapsed in 2005. You'll see the smaller "baby natural bridge" that now draws visitors, and there's a clean bathroom at the shop if you need it.

The heart of the tour is the Natural Pool, a recently discovered swimming spot tucked into the rocky coast. You descend a staircase carved into the rocks, then spend about 20 minutes swimming and cliff jumping in the clear water. After that, the guide drives you along the scenic north coast road past Goldmill Ruins and stops at Alto Vista Chapel, the first chapel built on the island, which sits on the hills above the north shore. The road itself is dotted with small beaches and rocky inlets worth photographing.

The tour ends at Tres Trapi, a tiny sandy cove on the northwestern shore accessible by three rustic steps carved into the rock. The 10-meter beach is known for its white sand and grey cliffs, but the real draw is the seafloor: hundreds of red cushion starfish lay in the placid water, making it one of the island's most photogenic snorkeling spots. You get snorkeling equipment and time to explore the water. The guide speaks English, Spanish or Dutch and stops for pictures whenever you ask.
