The experience

The drive starts from your hotel or lodge in Livingstone with a short transfer to Mosi oa Tunya National Park. Once inside, you spend two hours on the park loops by vehicle, scanning for hippos, Cape buffaloes, wildebeests, crocodiles and the rare white rhinos the park protects. The park is also dense with bird species, so birdwatchers find plenty to track. A guide drives and narrates in English throughout.

After the game drive, the rhino walk begins. Experienced trackers lead you on foot to find and observe the white rhinos in their habitat, a closer encounter than the vehicle allows. This is the part most visitors come for: the chance to stand near these animals and watch them move and graze without the windscreen between you and them.

Water, soda and snacks are provided during the outing. Once the rhino walk ends, transport takes you back to your accommodation in Livingstone. All fees and taxes are included in the price.
