The experience
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park sits minutes from Livingstone town, close enough for hotel pickup to get you there without a long drive, yet remote enough to feel like real bush. The park's main draw is its white rhinos, among the last in Zambia, but the Zambezi River landscape and the mix of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and antelope make the three hours feel full. Birdlife is strong here too, and the river itself holds hippos and crocodiles worth watching for.
Your guide leads both the vehicle portion and the walking section, pointing out animals and reading the landscape as you move through the park. The experience is built on a smaller scale than the massive reserves further south. Wildlife density is lower, which is exactly why it stays calm and uncrowded. You get soft drinks, water and crisps at mid-morning and afternoon stops, so you're not managing hunger or thirst on your own.
Hotel pickup and drop-off from anywhere in Livingstone town is included, and national park entrance fees are covered. The whole outing fits into a morning or afternoon, leaving the rest of your day free for Victoria Falls or the river itself.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (5 to 11 years). Under 5: they can't be included in the booking.
What wildlife am I most likely to see on the Livingstone game drive?
White rhinos are the signature sighting: Mosi-oa-Tunya holds Zambia's last remaining endangered population. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles and various antelope species are common, and birdlife is prolific along the Zambezi River.
How does the white rhino walking safari work?
Your guide leads you on foot through sections of the park where rhinos are known to move. Walking lets you move quietly and get closer views than the vehicle allows, and your guide reads tracks and behavior to find them.
Is the three-hour tour enough time to see the park properly?
Three hours covers the main wildlife zones and gives you time for both the drive and the walking portion. The park is smaller and less crowded than larger reserves, so you see animals without spending a full day in the vehicle.
What's included in the price, and what do I need to arrange separately?
Hotel pickup and drop-off, national park entry, the guide's services, soft drinks and snacks are all included. Tips and gratuities are separate, and you'll need a valid passport. Visas are not included.
