The experience

I didn’t expect to feel so quiet stepping into the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Maybe it was the way our guide paused before we went in. On the drive back I caught myself replaying those first quiet moments in the mosque more than anything else. I still think about that light sometimes.
