The experience
Five hours gets you from no diving experience to underwater. A qualified instructor meets you at the dive centre, walks you through the equipment and safety briefing, then takes you into the onsite pool to practice four basic skills before you're ready for the sea. Once you're comfortable with the gear and the fundamentals, you move to one of the operator's favourite local dive sites where you actually experience the underwater world: fish, crabs, octopus, cuttlefish, and if conditions align, Atlantic stingrays and turtles.
The class is built around learning by doing, not watching. You're in the water with the instructor, working through each skill step by step, so by the time you reach the sea site you've already practiced what you need to know. The pool session is where nerves settle and muscle memory builds. The sea dive is where it becomes real.
Pickup is included, and the guide speaks English, Spanish, French or Dutch depending on the group. Public transportation options are also available if you prefer to meet at the dive centre.
