The experience
Five hours on the water means you pick two dives from a catalog of more than 16 sites along Tenerife's southeast coast, each one different in depth and character. Some descents reach wrecks or caves. Others focus on the open seabed where the marine life is densest. You choose the sites that match your interests and your certification level, and the guide (speaking English or Spanish) handles the logistics of moving between them.
The seabed here holds octopus, cuttlefish, rays, moray eels and barracudas among many others. Complete diving equipment is provided, so you arrive and suit up without hauling your own gear. An underwater photographer joins the dives and captures images you can take home, turning the day into something more than a log entry in your certification card.
Pickup is included, and the dive center can arrange diving insurance for the day if you need it (6.50 euros). Children from age 12 can join if they're certified and comfortable in the water. They must be accompanied by an adult. If your chosen date becomes unavailable, the operator will rebook you on another day or refund you in full.

Is this one for you?Five hours leaves room for breakfast before and a late lunch after, so it fits into a day with other plans. If you want to dive twice and still have most of your day free, this window works. If you're looking for a full-day immersion with multiple dives and surface intervals, you'll need a longer booking.
