The experience
You start with the theoretical and practical basics of scuba diving, then move into the water at different dive sites around Tenerife. Small groups mean your instructor stays near you throughout, and you'll encounter fish and the volcanic rock formations that shape the seafloor here. By the end of the three days, you're certified to dive independently, rent equipment and have tanks filled anywhere in the world.
Dives happen daily except Sunday, with each day starting at 9:30am. The course includes all the gear you need (wetsuit, tanks, regulator, weights) plus course literature and your logbook. Pickup and drop-off are included within approximately 12 miles of the dive centre. If your accommodation is farther out, additional cost may apply. You'll need to be in reasonable health to dive, and you cannot dive for 24 hours before flying.
