The Experience
You've landed in Lima with a free afternoon or morning, and the city spreads across neighborhoods that don't connect on foot. This tour solves that by putting you on a bike—the fastest way to string together the landmarks without renting a car or figuring out which bus goes where. The ride starts at the Inka Plaza Handicraft Market in Miraflores and moves through the coastal strip, so you're never far from a viewpoint or a place to stop.
The route passes Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca adobe pyramid standing in the middle of the city, then follows the cliffs along Miraflores' main promenade with the Pacific Ocean on one side. You'll ride past Love Park with its colorful mosaics and the famous "El Beso" sculpture, then stop at Larcomar, an open-air shopping center built into the cliffs where you can grab a coffee or just stand and look at the water. The guide points out the Chinese heritage landmark and the iconic lighthouse—both are among Miraflores' best photo spots. The pace is steady but not rushed; the tour is built for all fitness levels.
The final leg crosses into Barranco, Lima's bohemian neighborhood. You ride the Puente de la Paz, a glass-bottomed bridge that lets you look straight down at the Pacific coast, then reach the Bridge of Sighs—the romantic, colorful span that's become the symbol of the neighborhood. If time allows, the route passes through the lively square locals call Cat Park, where artists and dozens of friendly cats occupy the benches. The whole loop takes 2.5 hours and ends where Barranco's street life happens, so you can stay and explore or head back to your hotel.

What's Huaca Pucllana and why does it matter if I'm seeing Lima for the first time?
Huaca Pucllana is a pre-Inca adobe pyramid built centuries before the Spanish arrived, and it sits in the middle of modern Miraflores—a stark reminder that Lima was a major settlement long before it became a capital. The guide explains its history and why it's still standing in the middle of the city instead of being demolished.
Is this tour safe for someone who hasn't cycled in years?
The tour is suitable for all fitness levels, and the route is designed for steady riding rather than speed. You're on a bike path along the cliffs and through neighborhoods, not in heavy traffic. The guide sets the pace and stops frequently at landmarks, so you have time to rest and take photos.
What happens at Love Park and is it worth the stop?
Love Park is a romantic seaside park with colorful mosaics and the famous "El Beso" sculpture—a couple kissing—overlooking the ocean. It's one of Lima's most photographed spots and a natural place to pause, catch your breath and look at the view.
Can I shop or eat at Larcomar, or is it just a ride-through?
Larcomar is an open-air shopping center with boutiques, restaurants and cafes, all with ocean views. The tour includes a stop there, so you can grab a coffee, browse, or just sit and watch the sunset if you have time. It's not a rushed pass-by.
What's the Bridge of Sighs and where does the tour end?
The Bridge of Sighs is a romantic, colorful bridge in Barranco that's become the symbol of the neighborhood. The tour ends there, in the heart of Barranco's bohemian district, so you can stay and explore the street art, galleries and cafes, or head back to your hotel from there.
Do I need to book lunch separately, or is it part of the tour?
Lunch is not included in the standard bike tour. You can add a traditional Peruvian lunch as an option at checkout, or stop at a cafe or restaurant along the route—Larcomar has several, and Barranco is full of casual spots where locals eat.
