The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, or Lima center, then moves straight into the city's layered history. Your first stop is Huaca Pucllana, a clay and adobe pyramid built between 200 and 700 AD as a ceremonial and administrative center for the Lima Culture. You view it from the exterior, standing in front of the actual structure rather than reading about it behind glass. From there, the guide walks you through what makes each district distinct—not as a list of facts, but as you move through the neighborhoods themselves.

Miraflores comes first, where the guide explains the district's development and why it draws more visitors than anywhere else in the city. Then you reach Love Park, inaugurated in 1993, where the centerpiece is "El Beso"—a sculpture by Peruvian artist Victor Delfín showing two figures in an endless kiss. The park's benches are tiled in the style of Gaudí's work in Barcelona, and the mosaic walls are vivid enough that the space feels deliberately built for the moment. From the cliffs here, you get unobstructed views of Lima and the Pacific.

The Olive Park in San Isidro is a deliberate shift in pace—a quiet, green space where the olive trees are several hundred years old, with exhibits of antique oil-production machinery, an ornamental pond, and benches facing the park's perimeter of old colonial homes. It is the kind of place that slows the morning down. Barranco, the final stop, is the opposite energy: a short walk through the neighborhood's murals and artistic spaces, with the guide explaining what the street art means and why the district has become Lima's creative hub. You end at the Bridge of Sighs in Barranco's plaza, where the tradition is to make a wish before crossing.
