The experience

Hotel pickup starts the day, and the drive heads first to Asilah, a coastal town painted in shades of blue. You walk through its medina, the old walled quarter, and down to the small fishing port where boats tie up along the water. From there, the route continues to Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel, a rocky headland where you stand between two bodies of water: the Atlantic on one side, the Mediterranean on the other. Camel riding along the Atlantic beaches is available if you want it.

The afternoon moves into Tangier's Kasbah, the fortified old town that overlooks the strait. The guide leads through narrow medina streets lined with spice merchants and Berber souks: the open-air markets where locals buy and sell. These are working markets, not tourist zones, and the guide knows which stalls, which corners, which stories matter.
