The experience

The tour picks you up from your hotel and moves through three gardens, each one distinct. Majorelle Garden centers on French-influenced architecture and the history of designer Yves Saint Laurent, with burbling streams, pools of water lilies and lotus flowers threaded through shaded walkways lined with exotic plants. Menara Gardens sits closer to the city and draws both locals and visitors seeking relief from summer heat, its olive groves and open lawns spreading below the Atlas Mountains. The route then heads out of Marrakech for about 30 minutes to reach ANIMA Garden.

ANIMA Garden spans two hectares and was designed by universal artist André Heller as a space for contemplation and wonder. The botanical staging moves through different zones of sensuality and healing, built for visitors of all ages. The entire tour runs four to five hours with your private driver and a multilingual guide who speaks English, Spanish or French.

All three entrance fees are included, along with hotel pickup and an air-conditioned vehicle. Bottled water comes with you throughout the day. Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller, and the gardens themselves are suitable for all fitness levels, though you'll be walking through planted grounds and along shaded paths at each stop.
