The Experience

Then comes the cave cenote—a drop into an underground chamber where stalactites hang from the ceiling and the air shifts cool and still. A guide walks you through a brief Mayan ceremony in this space, grounding the physical intensity in the spiritual history of the place. Bottled water and lunch are provided, and the air-conditioned vehicle handles transport to and from your hotel.
