The experience

The day starts with a ride into the Tulum jungle on an ATV, navigating rugged trails and the surrounding terrain. From there you move to the zip lines, a full kilometer of them, where you glide from platform to platform above the canopy. The certified guide leads the whole sequence and handles the logistics. Round-trip transport from your hotel is included, so you show up ready to ride.

After the zip lines comes the rappelling: a 7-meter descent down steep cliffs surrounded by jungle vegetation. Then you reach the cenote, a natural sinkhole with turquoise water, where you swim and cool off. Lifejackets are provided, and lockers keep your gear safe while you're in the water. A traditional Mayan ceremony is woven into the day, and lunch follows: local flavors including rice, beans, and beef or chicken fajitas, plus flavored waters.

The activity is open to all fitness levels, though it does pack multiple adrenaline moments into a short window. You'll need to decide at checkout whether you want a shared ATV or a single ATV. If your group size is uneven and you pick shared, the solo rider converts to a single ATV at an additional charge. The guide speaks English or Spanish.
