The Experience

You ride a 450cc CAN-AM ATV—the only 2-passenger model approved in the destination—across uneven jungle terrain that tests your handling. The route takes you through dense Mayan forest where the ground shifts from packed dirt to rocky sections, and the bike responds to every correction you make. A professional guide leads the group, and the pace is set so you're pushing your skills without losing control. Helmets are provided, and the minivan transport to and from your hotel brackets the whole day so you don't navigate to the starting point yourself.

After the jungle section, you snorkel in two distinct ecosystems. The underground cenote—a freshwater sinkhole carved into limestone—has its own light and temperature, and the water is clear enough that you see the rock formations below. Then you move to Yal Ku lagoon, where the Caribbean meets the cenote outflow, and the marine life shifts: tropical fish, rays, and the color gradient from fresh to salt water. Between water stops, you clip into a zip-line circuit that runs above the canopy, so you're suspended over the jungle rather than moving through it. A buffet lunch and fresh water are provided midday.

The tour runs 6 hours total. You'll need at least moderate fitness—the ATV riding demands core strength and balance, and the snorkeling requires basic swimming ability.
