The experience

You get the boat, the equipment, and the freedom to set your own pace. The 28-foot Yamaha carries up to 6 passengers, and the rental includes snorkeling gear, a paddle board, a wakeboard, a floating mat, and a 3-person inflatable towable, so the group can split between the water and the boat depending on what they want to do. A cooler stocked with ice, water, soda and beer stays on board the whole time.

The two-hour window gives you time to reach the Arch (the dramatic rock formation at Land's End where the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez meet), and cruise along Medano Beach, where the water is shallow enough to anchor and snorkel. You choose the stops and how long to stay at each one. If someone wants to try the wakeboard or just float on the mat while others snorkel, there's room for both. The guide is there to help with the boat and answer questions about the area, and they speak English or Spanish.

Food and upgraded alcohol are available for an extra cost if you want to add them on. Towels and sunscreen are not included, so bring your own or plan to pick some up before you leave the dock.
