Snorkel two of Cabo's best reefs from a 33-foot yacht, with drinks and food on board.

A private yacht snorkeling cruise in Cabo San Lucas departs from Marina Cabo San Lucas and takes up to 10 guests to Pelican Rock and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, with snorkeling equipment, snacks and your choice of open bar, soft drinks or no bar. The 2-hour and 3-hour options differ in which sites you visit and what's served; the 3-hour tour adds the Corridor coastline and a beach stop. You pick your start time after booking and confirm it with the operator.

2h–3h

Step-by-step itinerary

Private yacht cruise and snorkeling

  • Meet at Marina Cabo San Lucas
  • Snorkel at Pelican Rock
  • Visit the Arch of Cabo San Lucas
  • View coastline of the Corridor
  • Snorkel and relax at chosen beach

The Experience

The boat leaves Marina Cabo San Lucas and heads straight to Pelican Rock, one of the most reliable snorkel spots in the bay. The water here holds different species of marine life, and if conditions are right, you'll be in the water early in the trip. You bring your own mask and fins or use the snorkeling equipment provided; a flotation device is there if you need it.

From Pelican Rock, the route swings toward the Arch of Cabo San Lucas — the landmark most photographed in the whole region, and especially striking at sunset if your cruise time lands there. The 2-hour tours wrap up around this point. If you booked the 3-hour option, the boat continues along the Corridor, the stretch of coastline between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, where the landscape opens up and more snorkel spots come into play depending on weather and what the group wants to do. The final stop is a beach — one of the most protected bays in Cabo — where you snorkel again, paddle board if you want, or just sit with food and drinks while the day settles.

What you drink depends on which package you chose at checkout. The 3-hour All Inclusive option includes an open bar plus food and snacks. The 2-hour Boat & Drinks option gives you the open bar and snacks but no meal. The 2-hour Boat & Snorkeling option swaps the bar for soft drinks and snacks. Snacks come on all three; the 3-hour tour is the only one with a full meal. If this is a special event and you want a cake or champagne, message the operator after booking and they'll work it in.

What’s included

  • Use of snorkeling equipment and flotation device.
  • snacks on all options.
  • paddle board access on the 3-hour tour.
  • open bar (All Inclusive and Boat & Drinks options) or soft drinks (Boat & Snorkeling option).
  • food and a full meal on the 3-hour All Inclusive option only.

Is this one for you?Book the 3-hour All Inclusive option if you want the longest time in the water across three snorkel sites plus a meal and open bar — it's the only one that reaches the Corridor and the beach bay. The 2-hour options work if you want the core experience (Pelican Rock and the Arch) in less time, and you can still choose whether drinks are part of it.

Top questions

What snorkel sites do I actually visit on this cruise?

Pelican Rock is the first stop on all three options — it's where the boat goes to start snorkeling, and the marine life there is the main draw. The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is the second stop on all options. If you book the 3-hour All Inclusive tour, you also visit the Corridor coastline and a protected beach bay for a third snorkel session.

Can I bring my own snorkel gear or do I have to use what's on the boat?

The yacht provides snorkeling equipment and a flotation device, so you don't need to bring your own. You can use what's supplied or bring your own if you prefer.

What's the difference between the three options?

The 3-hour All Inclusive option includes an open bar, food and snacks, plus visits to Pelican Rock, the Arch, the Corridor and a beach. The 2-hour Boat & Drinks option has an open bar and snacks but no meal, and stops at Pelican Rock and the Arch only. The 2-hour Boat & Snorkeling option replaces the bar with soft drinks and snacks, same two stops.

How many people fit on the yacht?

The 33-foot Sea Ray 330 Express Cruiser holds up to 10 guests, so groups stay small and the boat doesn't feel crowded.

When does the cruise start, and can I choose the time?

After you book, the operator sends you a proposed start time. You confirm it or reach out and let them know what time works better for you — the start time is flexible and arranged after the booking is made.

Is transportation to the marina included?

Transportation to Marina Cabo San Lucas is not included in the cruise price. Public transportation options are available nearby if you need them.
