The experience

You ride your own ATV across sand, desert floor and mountain passes, starting with the beach at Migriño and moving inland through mangrove swamps and dune landscapes. The route covers terrain that shifts from packed sand to rocky desert, so the ride itself is the point, not a transfer to somewhere else. A guide leads the small group and stops twice to let you rest, take in the views of the Pacific, and learn what grows here: the cacti are the real story, with over 50 kinds on the route, many endemic to Baja California.
