The experience
The class starts in a private villa outside Ostuni where you'll learn to handmake orecchiette and at least two other traditional pasta shapes using techniques passed down through generations. You work with all the ingredients and equipment provided, guided step by step through the process. This isn't a demonstration. You're at the counter making the dough, shaping each piece, learning the pressure and angle that give each pasta its form.
After the cooking, you move to the table for a full traditional Apulian dinner. The meal opens with local starters made from regional ingredients, moves into a main course of the fresh pasta you just made, and closes with a local dessert and wine. The atmosphere is intimate and unhurried, designed to feel like a real meal in Puglia rather than a staged event. The wine is local, and the whole experience is built around hospitality and connection to the region's food culture.
You can book this class with or without an add-on Pizzica dance lesson, or choose to focus on the Orecchiette class alone if you want to go deeper into one pasta shape. Children are welcome from age 6. The villa is accessible by public transport, and if you need a transfer arranged, the operator can help with that on request.

Is this one for you?The three-hour format keeps the experience focused: long enough to learn real technique and sit down to a proper meal, short enough to fit into a day exploring Ostuni itself. If you want to add a Pizzica dance class or go deeper into orecchiette alone, you can choose that option at checkout.
