The experience
The day starts over coffee at Ubbìpò, where you and Nonna Maria talk through the season and what you want to cook. Then you head together to the Agropoli market (the real one, where locals buy), and navigate the stalls to pick seasonal ingredients straight from producers. This is not a tour of the market. You are sourcing what you will make.
Back in the family kitchen, you learn handmade pasta under Nonna Maria's hands-on guidance: the intuitive gestures and the secrets that have moved through generations. While you knead and shape fusilli, you taste fresh buffalo mozzarella, zucchini flower fritters, and organic wines from the region: the flavors that anchor the Mediterranean Diet. This is the core of the day: the tactile work of cooking alongside someone who has done it her whole life, not watching a demonstration.
Lunch happens on the terrace overlooking the sea, where each dish you made is paired with premium wines and a long, unhurried meal. You leave with a personalized apron signed by Nonna Maria, and the muscle memory of how to roll pasta by hand.
