The Experience

You're driving out of Bologna toward Maranello before most people finish breakfast. The shuttle bus pulls up to the Ferrari factory gates, and suddenly you're not looking at pictures anymore — you're standing where the 812 Superfast gets built, watching the assembly line move in real time. The panoramic tour takes you through the production areas, past the Scaglietti workshop where they still hand-shape aluminum like they did in the 1950s, and then onto the Fiorano Track itself, Ferrari's private circuit. That's the part that stays with you. You're not driving it, but you're standing on the same asphalt where test drivers push new cars to their limit every single day.

After that, the Pagani factory tour shifts the whole experience. This one's different — it's smaller, more intimate, and the guide walks you through the production areas explaining how a supercar actually gets built, not just where. You see the Zonda's evolution, then the new Huayra taking shape. The museum part is Horacio Pagani's story, which turns out to matter more than you'd expect when you're looking at the cars he dreamed up. Then there's the Lamborghini Museum in Bologna itself — the MUDETEC, they call it now. The Miura, the Countach, the Ferruccio's original vision, and the current lineup like the Urus and Aventador SVJ.
