The experience
The day opens at a working Parmigiano Reggiano dairy where you watch the cheese workers lift curds from copper boilers and shape wheels by hand. You walk through the aging storage, thousands of wheels stacked in rows, then visit the stable with the cows. The tasting that follows includes three ages of Parmigiano Reggiano, fresh ricotta with balsamic, and snacks paired with Lambrusco wine. This is not a museum recreation. You are inside the production itself.
From there, private transport takes you to MUDETEC, the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, where you move through the evolution of the Raging Bull on your own pace. The collection runs from the 350 GT and the revolutionary Miura through the Countach to ultra-rare hypercars like the Centenario and the hybrid Asterion, ending with the Aventador SVJ, Huracán Performante, and Urus SUV. Skip-the-line entry means you walk straight in. Next is Maranello and the Ferrari Museum, where you see Enzo's original office, bodywork from the Scaglietti workshop, and modern cars like the 812 Superfast and Portofino. The Formula 1 room holds the championship cars and the history of Scuderia Ferrari's victories.
The afternoon shifts to the Food Valley. At a local winery, a guide walks you through how grapes were harvested and pressed before the industrial era, then you taste three wines made on-site. Finally, at a balsamic vinegar producer, you climb to the rooftop lined with historic wooden barrels and learn the decades-long aging process. The tasting compares 12-year and 25-year-old balsamic, showing the texture and aroma that separate authentic DOP vinegar from everyday versions.
