Free time means you can explore the pottery shops, wander, or sit with a coffee and let the afternoon settle.

The drive back to Naples takes the late afternoon. If you're traveling between November and March, the Arsenal of the Amalfi Republic — the medieval shipyard — is included as a stop instead of the boat ride. Either way, you're back in the city by evening, having seen three distinct towns without the stress of arranging transport, timing yourself, or navigating the coast road alone.
