The experience
The day starts with a transfer from your Naples meeting point to the port at Torre del Greco, where you board the boat and cross the gulf with Mount Vesuvius visible on the horizon. As you sail toward Sorrento, you'll pass the Baths of Queen Giovanna (historical pools and caves cut into the cliffs), and Punta Campanella, a marine protected area where ancient legends meet coastal views. The boat then moves toward the Amalfi Coast, passing Nerano, Praiano, and the Fjord of Furore before reaching Li Galli, the rugged island legendary as the home of the Sirens.
A stop in Crapolla Fjord gives you time to rest in the clear waters and take in the majestic cliffs. From there, the boat continues to Amalfi, where you have free time to walk the UNESCO World Heritage town, visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, and explore the picturesque streets. If you choose the Ravello option, a minibus takes you up the mountain to that hilltop town while your time in Amalfi shortens to one hour. Without Ravello, you keep the full free time in Amalfi before the boat sails on to Positano.
Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, is where the day ends before you return to the port and transfer back to Naples. The narrow streets, small shops, and colorful pottery create the postcard view the coast is known for. A professional tour leader in English or Italian provides headset commentary throughout the boat journey, and the whole route can shift if sea conditions or traffic warrant it.

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is Li Galli island and why do we sail past it?
Li Galli is a legendary island off the Amalfi Coast, said to be the home of the Sirens in ancient mythology. The boat passes it on the way to Amalfi, and its rugged cliffs and clear waters are part of the coastal scenery you see from the water.
How much free time do I get in Amalfi and Positano?
Amalfi gives you free time to explore the cathedral, the UNESCO World Heritage streets, and local shops. If you add the Ravello visit, your Amalfi time is one hour. Without Ravello, you have longer to wander. Positano is your final stop before returning to the boat and heading back to Naples.
What happens if I choose to visit Ravello?
A minibus takes you from Amalfi up to Ravello, the hilltop town, during the Amalfi stop. This reduces your free time in Amalfi to one hour, so you choose based on whether you want more time in the coastal town or prefer the mountain views and town of Ravello.
Can I swim or get in the water during the tour?
The boat stops at Crapolla Fjord, where the clear waters invite you to swim or rest. You also have free time in Positano and Amalfi, where you can access the sea if you wish, though the main activity in those towns is walking and exploring the streets.
What's included in the tour price?
The tour includes your transfer from the Naples meeting point to Torre del Greco and back, the boat ride along the coast, headsets for the guide's commentary in English or Italian, and free time in Amalfi and Positano.
