The experience

The boat leaves from Lombok and takes you to three separate islands in sequence, each with its own reef system and marine life. Gili Nanggu, Gili Sudak and Gili Kedis sit close enough together that you can move between them inside a single seven-hour outing, but far enough apart that the underwater landscape shifts noticeably at each stop. The waters are shallow and clear, so you see the coral and fish without needing deep diving skills or heavy currents to fight.

You get the boat to yourself: no strangers sharing the space or the guide's attention. The captain navigates between the islands while you're in the water, and the guide stays with your group to point out marine life and make sure everyone is comfortable. Snorkeling equipment is provided, so you only need to bring yourself and a swimsuit. An underwater GoPro camera comes along, so you can capture footage of what you see below the surface.

Hotel pickup from Lombok is optional and added at checkout. If you arrange your own transport to the departure point, that works too. Public transportation options exist nearby if you prefer to meet the boat independently. Infants can come along if they sit on an adult's lap during the boat ride.
