By late afternoon you reach the campsite on the river, where you can swim and rest before dinner. The evening is unstructured: guides and guests often play games or make music together.

Day two starts with breakfast and tea by the river. A shorter hike takes you to a waterfall, with another chance to encounter the rare animals of the national park. Lunch is included. After eating, the river tubing begins: you float back downstream to Bukit Lawang village, which is how the trek ends instead of how it started.
