The experience
You get behind the wheel of a giant 6x6 Mega Tiger Truck: a double buggy you operate yourself, not a passenger seat. The day starts with a drive through rural villages and a refreshing swim at one of the north coast's ocean beaches. The route changes based on conditions, but the core stays the same: you're driving, steering through terrain, making the vehicle move. A professional guide leads the group and handles the stops.
After the beach swim, you move to the canopy zip line section. Long cables let you fly high over the Dominican tropical views before heading to the farm for a homemade buffet lunch and organic fruit from the property, plus soft drinks. Then comes Damajagua Falls: seven separate waterfalls where you hike between pools, swim, waterslide into the mountain lagoons, and for anyone ready for it, rock jump into the deeper pools. The waterfall section is the physical heart of the day. The guide leads the hikes and swims.
Hotel or port pickup is included, and you'll need a valid driving license to operate the buggy. Gear (goggles, helmet, gloves and harness) comes with the activity. The full day runs about 8 hours. A multi-lingual guide speaks English, Spanish, French or German depending on the group.
