The experience

The activity starts with a fully automatic ATV, no manual transmission to manage, so you focus on the terrain itself. You'll navigate scenic mountain trails around Tamarindo, crossing rivers and shallow puddles, taking secondary roads that see few visitors. The landscape shifts as you climb. Each kilometer brings the mountain scenery closer. Two to three stops at Tamarindo Beach break up the ride, each one lasting about ten minutes, with time to swim or grab drinks if you want them.

After the ATV portion, you move to the zipline section. The entry is included, and you'll fly over the treetops with the same guide who led the ride. The whole outing runs three hours. Seasonal fruit and bottled water come with it, and an ATV security team stays with the group throughout. You can book either from Tamarindo itself or from the office, depending on what suits your schedule.
