The experience
The day starts on automatic ATVs, no manual transmission to manage, which means you focus on the trail and the landscape instead of gear shifts. You ride through scenic terrain toward the zipline destination, covering easy-to-handle routes that let you enjoy the ride without fighting the machine. Once you reach the course, you'll glide across 10 different cables strung through the lush forest, each one giving you a different angle of the canopy and the ground far below.
After the zipline section ends, you climb back onto the ATV for a leisurely return ride through the picturesque landscape to where you started. The whole outing (riding out, ziplining, riding back) fits into 3.5 hours. A professional guide speaks English or Spanish throughout, and the operator handles pickup from your Tamarindo hotel, so you don't arrange transport separately. Water and fresh fruit come with the activity.
