- Ride 7 ziplines through the canopy

- Climb a tree for extra adrenaline
The Experience
The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Tamarindo or Flamingo, then heads into the surrounding forest on back roads you can't reach any other way. You'll ride the ATV through tropical terrain and mountain passes for the first part of the tour, exploring at a pace the guide sets for the group. Once you reach the canopy site, you switch from the ATV to the zipline course—7 cables of varying lengths, the longest stretching 500 meters, plus two suspension bridges and a tree climb for anyone wanting more intensity. The whole experience runs 3.5 hours and includes a guide who speaks English or Spanish.
The zipline cables are rigged between the trees so you're moving through the forest canopy rather than looking at it from the ground. The suspension bridges connect some of the platforms, and the tree climb is optional—you choose whether to take it on. Water and fresh tropical fruit are provided during the tour. Helmets and all safety gear are included, and the guide handles the setup and instruction on both the ATV and the zipline course, so you don't need prior experience.
Riders must be at least 16 to operate an ATV; children 4 and up can join as passengers on the ATVs with a parent or guardian. The zipline has a minimum age of 5 for those physically able, and a weight limit of 240 pounds; ATVs have a 485-pound weight limit. The tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health.
