The experience
The driver picks you up at 10:00 AM and takes you through Medellin's neighborhoods toward the runway. The route ends in San Felix Antioquia, where you'll prepare for the flight at the office and walk to the flight strip: a hilltop with an unobstructed view of the city below. That's where you launch.
Once airborne, you spend 15 minutes paragliding over Medellin. The guide flies with you and captures the flight on GoPro, so you leave with photos and video of the experience. The air-conditioned vehicle is included for the full journey, and the operator provides all paragliding equipment.
A live guide speaks English or Spanish throughout the day. Children from age 5 can participate. The activity is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health, though it suits all other fitness levels.
