Paragliding in Medellín: Tandem flights with certified pilots

You choose the flight: glide through Medellín's thermals or push the limits with aerobatic turns.

Tandem paragliding in Medellín with a certified FAI instructor and all safety gear included. You fly from the largest runway in the area while the pilot handles altitude and landing. The experience runs about three hours from arrival to footage download, and you pick between a calm flight or extreme maneuvers before takeoff. Children from age 5 are welcome, and guides speak English and Spanish.

The experience

You arrive at the flight ramp (the largest and safest in the area), and the Only Fly team gets you into a certified harness and helmet. A FAI-certified instructor walks you through takeoff in a few simple steps, then you're airborne. The pilot uses wind currents to climb while you feel the air and watch the city drop away. The whole flight lands back where it started. Afterward, the GoPro footage transfers to your phone without losing quality, so you have the proof before you leave.

The choice is yours before you take off: a relaxing flight where you float and soak in the view, or an adrenaline run with extreme stunts and sharp turns. Either way, the pilot is focused on getting you the best photos and video. The experience takes about three hours from the moment you walk onto the ramp to when you're holding your footage. Instructors speak English or Spanish, and the team has more than 17 years of combined flying experience.

Children from age 5 can fly, and the ramp is wheelchair accessible with accessible surfaces throughout. Medical assistance is on-site. If you want an extended flight or professional photography and video beyond the GoPro footage, those are add-ons you arrange at checkout.
