Six Zones, One Roof: Dubai's Biggest Indoor Theme Park Explained

You get unlimited access to all IMG Worlds rides and attractions across four themed zones — Marvel, Lost Valley, Cartoon Network, and Boulevard dining and shops. The optional transfer picks you up from your Dubai hotel and drops you at the parking area, where a shuttle takes you to the park entrance. The park runs 12 noon–10pm most days (11pm Saturdays), and admission includes all rides with no per-attraction fees. Height restrictions and medical guidelines apply to certain rides, posted at each attraction.

The Experience

"You'll want to wear comfortable shoes," our driver said as he dropped us at the parking area. "The park is massive — people underestimate how much walking happens inside." He wasn't wrong. IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai is the world's largest indoor theme park, and it's designed so you don't have to choose between Marvel coasters, Lost Valley dinosaur rides, Cartoon Network attractions, and actually eating lunch without missing anything. The park runs from noon to 10pm most days (11pm on Saturdays), which sounds tight until you realize the air conditioning means you're not melting between zones like you would outdoors in Dubai heat.

The park splits into four main adventure zones, each one built around a different world. Marvel has the superhero rides, Lost Valley is all dinosaurs and jungle coasters, Cartoon Network is where families with younger kids camp out, and the Boulevard handles food and shopping when you need a break. There's no "best" zone — it depends what you're after. A group of teenagers will spend three hours on Marvel alone; a family with a six-year-old might rotate through Cartoon Network, grab lunch at one of the restaurants, and still have time for a few rides in Lost Valley. The thing that changes everything is the optional private transfer: if you book it, pickup happens from your Dubai hotel (Deira, Bur Dubai, Downtown, Al Barsha, Marina, Jumeirah, or Palm Jumeirah), and the driver drops you at the parking area, where you catch the park's shuttle to the entrance. Without the transfer, you arrange your own way there, which works fine if you have a rental car or don't mind the taxi negotiation.

Admission includes unlimited access to all rides and attractions — you're not buying tickets per ride or paying extra for zones. Height restrictions apply to some attractions (the park posts them at each one), and children under 1.05m get in free, though they need an adult with them. The park takes safety seriously enough that they list what medical conditions aren't compatible with certain rides, so if you have concerns, check with Guest Services when you arrive. Specialized infant seats are available if you're bringing very small children. The day moves at whatever pace you set: some people hit the big coasters first, others work through zones methodically, and plenty just follow the crowds and see where the shortest lines are.

If you're booking the transfer option, know that the driver handles the route and timing — you just show up at your hotel ready to go. The park's hours shift seasonally and during special events, so confirm the opening time when you book. Bring water (or buy it inside), wear shoes you can walk in for hours, and don't expect to see everything in one visit unless you arrive right at noon and stay until closing.
