The Experience

The moment you walk through the gates of Atlantis Aquaventure on Palm Jumeirah, you're standing in front of one of the region's largest water parks — and your single ticket gets you into three separate worlds. There's the waterpark itself, with rides that range from the genuinely terrifying (Leap of Faith, Master Blast, Poseidon's Revenge) to the kind you can float through half-asleep. Then there's the 700-meter Adventure Beach, which is its own stretch of private sand and shallow water. And then the Lost Chambers Aquarium, where 65,000 marine animals are on display behind glass — rays, sharks, tropical fish, the whole thing built around the myth of a sunken city.

The rides are split three ways: the ones that make your stomach flip, the ones that are just fun, and the ones designed so kids under a certain height can actually go on them. Leap of Faith is the headline — you're genuinely dropping through a tunnel into a lagoon where sharks are swimming. Master Blast and Poseidon's Revenge are the other two that'll get your adrenaline going.
