You’ll get to explore some of Thailand’s most famous islands with an experienced local guide, enjoy halal meals right on the sand, and snorkel in crystal-clear waters—all with transfers and gear sorted for you.
The morning air felt cool as we waited at the pier—just a hint of salt in the breeze. Our guide, Nok, handed out towels and bright beach bags before we grabbed a quick breakfast. I remember the coffee was strong enough to wake anyone up. The boat ride out to the Similan Islands took about 90 minutes; you could see flying fish skipping across the water if you looked closely.
Once we arrived, the water was so clear you could spot parrotfish from the deck. Nok pointed out which islands were best for snorkeling and made sure everyone got their mask fitted right. We spent ages floating above coral gardens—sometimes you’d hear nothing but your own breathing through the snorkel. Lunch was served picnic-style on a shaded part of the beach: steam rice, Massaman chicken curry, fried chicken, even spaghetti for anyone missing home food. Everything was halal and tasted fresh—especially the watermelon after swimming.
Kids are welcome but should be able to swim or wear life jackets. It’s not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with spinal or heart issues.
The included meals are halal and there are vegetarian options like stir-fried veggies and omelet. Let us know any dietary needs when booking.
The ride takes about 90 minutes each way from Phuket pier. You’ll have breakfast before boarding and snacks on return.
