The day starts with pickup from your Phuket hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and a ride to Phuket Royal Marina. After swimming, you'll pull into a beachfront restaurant with a private dining area on Ko Phi Phi Don, where lunch is served and you have time to walk the island.

The afternoon moves through three more stops. Viking Cave comes next—a limestone cavern on the island's edge that you'll see from the water and explore on foot. Then Pileh Lagoon, where the water turns a shade of blue that photographs poorly because it looks unreal; the captain times this stop around the tide so you can actually swim in it. The guide handles all the paperwork and fees, so you just get in the water.

Maya Bay takes up about an hour. It's the beach from the Leonardo DiCaprio film, and it's a national park now, which means a fee at the gate—your guide collects it and sorts the entry. The final stop is Khai Island, where the sand is white and the bar serves cold drinks. You can swim more, lie on the beach, or try paddleboarding and other water activities if you want them. The boat heads back to Phuket Royal Marina by late afternoon.
