Ride an ATV through Koh Samui's backcountry on routes ranging from 1 to 4 hours, visiting Jo Garden, jungle waterfalls, Wat Teepangkorn temple and mountain viewpoints with a local guide. You operate the machine solo or with a passenger. Hotel transfers and safety gear are included. Routes are built for riders 16 and up, with children from age 8 welcome as passengers.

The experience

You pick the length that fits your day: a 1-hour loop through Jo Garden and Khao Toei's forested trails to Viewpoint Soi 7, or a 2-hour ride that adds a hidden jungle waterfall and Rai Yaipan's coconut-farm landscape. The 3-hour program extends to Wat Teepangkorn, a hilltop temple with 360-degree views of the island's coastline and interior. The 4-hour adventure covers all of it: every stop, every viewpoint, plus additional secret mountain overlooks and extended off-road sections. A local guide leads each route and stays with you throughout, handling safety while you focus on the ride itself.

The machine is yours to operate: you can ride solo or bring a passenger along. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so you don't arrange transport separately. Drinking water and safety equipment come with every booking. The 3-hour and 4-hour programs add food. The operator sets a 140-kilogram weight limit per machine (rider plus passenger combined) and requires drivers to be at least 16 years old and in good physical condition. Children from age 8 can ride as passengers under supervision but cannot operate the ATV.

Routes stay on established trails and off-road paths rather than paved roads, so you're navigating terrain that changes with each section: tropical greenery, rural farmland, forested climbs, and open mountain vistas. The guide ensures you follow safe lines and stops any riding that looks risky. After the ride ends, you head back to your hotel muddy and tired, with the day's route mapped in memory.
