The Experience
Your driver picks you up from your hotel or villa anywhere on the island and brings you to the basecamp at Maenam Beach on the north shore. There you meet your guide, get a briefing on ATV controls and safety, and then ride out into the plantations. The route winds through Durian groves and stops at viewpoints; you operate the machine yourself the whole way, following the guide's line through the terrain.
The ride ends at a waterfall where you can swim and cool off. After the water, you get local seasonal fruit and a cold drink before the drive back to your hotel. The whole outing takes around two hours from pickup to drop-off. A live guide speaks English, French or Thai depending on what you book.
