If you want a day filled with crystal-clear water, colorful reefs, and laid-back island vibes, this Khai Nok & Khai Nui tour is for you. Swim, snorkel, relax—let someone else handle the details while you soak up the Andaman Sea.
Salt clung to my skin as we stepped off the boat onto Khai Nok’s powdery sand. The water was so clear you could spot tiny fish darting around your ankles before you even grabbed a snorkel. Our guide, Lek, handed out masks and fins with a grin—he’s been running these trips for years and knows every patch of reef by heart. I wandered over to a little beach shack for a cold coconut while some folks stretched out under striped umbrellas. There’s this faint scent of grilled squid drifting from a vendor nearby, mixing with the sea breeze.
Later, we cruised over to Khai Nui Island. It’s quieter here—no crowds, just the sound of water lapping against the rocks and the occasional shout from someone spotting a parrotfish below. The snorkeling is unreal; I lost count of how many colors flashed past my mask. Lunch came just when hunger hit—a simple Thai spread with sticky rice and spicy chicken, eaten with your toes in the sand. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch the shade from a lone palm tree while you eat. On the way back, everyone was sun-kissed and a bit sleepy, sipping on cold sodas as Phuket’s coastline came back into view.
Kids 3-11 can join if accompanied by an adult. Children under 2 aren’t allowed for safety reasons.
