The experience

You start at Morne Coubaril Estate, where the course sits beneath Petit Piton and the peaks of the Pitons stay in view. The local guide walks you through the safety gear and gives a training demonstration before you clip in. Once that's done, you're standing on the first of sixteen platforms, looking down at the treetop canopy and the town of Soufriere spreading out below. The Caribbean Sea sits in the distance, flat and blue.

The course has eight ziplines strung between those platforms around the estate, and you move through them one at a time. Speeds hit around 30mph on the longer stretches, which means there's real momentum. You're not drifting, you're moving. Between lines there's a bit of walking and some stairs, but the course suits all fitness levels.
