What do you see from 165 meters up? Everything Singapore has.

You board a capsule at ground level and spend 30 minutes rotating 165 meters above Singapore, taking in 360-degree views of Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, the river, and the skyline. On clear days you see into Malaysia and Indonesia. You choose day, sunset, or night, and the timed entry means you skip the queue — just present your QR code at the gate.

30m–50m

Step-by-step itinerary

  • Board the Singapore Flyer capsule
  • Enjoy 30-minute ride above city
  • View Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay
  • See Singapore River and Central Business District
  • Capture photos of city skyline
  • Spot Malaysia and Indonesia on clear days

The Experience

The Singapore Flyer sits at 30 Raffles Avenue, and the line to board moves faster than you'd expect for one of the world's tallest observation wheels. You step into an air-conditioned capsule — spacious enough that you're not pressed against strangers — and then it starts to turn. Slowly. The whole rotation takes 30 minutes, which sounds short until you realize it's exactly long enough to stop rushing and actually look.

At the top, 165 meters up, the city spreads out in every direction. Marina Bay Sands sits there like a ship, the Gardens by the Bay fan out below, and the Singapore River cuts through everything in a clean line. The Central Business District rises up in one direction, and on clear days — which is most days — you can actually see into Malaysia and Indonesia from up there. It's the kind of view that makes you understand why the city works the way it does, how the pieces fit. You take photos. Everyone does. But you also just stand there for a while.

Timing matters. The day ride gives you the landmarks sharp and clear, the water bright. The sunset ride catches the light turning gold across the buildings. After dark, the whole skyline lights up — Marina Bay Sands glows, the towers throw their reflections into the water, and the Formula 1 Marina Bay Street Circuit traces itself in lights below. Each one feels like a different city. You get to choose which one you want to see, and the ticket is valid only on the date you specify, so pick the one that matches your mood.

Public transport gets you there, and the voucher works as a QR code at the entrance — no printing required. If weather turns bad and your tickets haven't been scanned yet, you can come back another day with the same voucher. If you've already gone up, they'll issue a revisit letter so you're not out the money.
