The Experience

The SkyPark sits on the 56th floor of Marina Bay Sands, which means you're standing 200 meters above the city on a platform designed by architect Moshe Safdie, balanced across three hotel towers. When you book the skip-the-line ticket, you skip the queue and go straight to the observation deck — no waiting around in the lobby while the line builds up. Your entry time might shift by 30 minutes to an hour on busy days, but you're still ahead of the people buying tickets at the counter.

The views sweep across Marina Bay and the entire skyline, and on a clear day you can see all the way out toward the Malay Peninsula. If you go at sunset or after dark, the city lights take over — the Marina Bay area glows, and the whole thing looks different than it does in photos. The Supertree Grove is visible from up there too, those 162,900 tropical plants arranged inside the tree-like structures down in the nature park, which is strange and beautiful to see from above.

Your ticket includes five digital photos and two animated short videos (Magic Shots) with effects added to them — those get taken in the queue on B1, so you'll have something to take home that's not just a phone snapshot. You'll need to wear shoes, and you can't bring luggage up with you, so leave the big bag at your hotel. If there's heavy rain or a thunderstorm, the deck closes for safety, so check the weather before you go and maybe plan this for a clear afternoon or evening.

Access now runs along the outside of the towers — you exit at Bayfront MRT, take the left escalator down to ground level, and walk along the outside from Tower 1 to Tower 3. If it's raining, there's a covered route through the mall instead. The entrance is on the B level of Tower 3. It's accessible by car, taxi, bus, or MRT, and the hotel connects directly to Bayfront station, so getting there is straightforward.
