Step-by-step itinerary
Visit Gardens by the Bay
- Enter Flower Dome greenhouse
- Explore Mediterranean, Succulent, Australian Gardens
- Visit Cloud Forest and see indoor waterfall
The experience
The Flower Dome is where you start: it's the largest greenhouse on earth, and you walk through Mediterranean, Succulent and Australian gardens all under one climate-controlled roof. The scale alone makes it worth the visit: plants that would never survive outdoors in Singapore thrive here because the building controls everything from humidity to light. You'll spend an hour or more just moving through the different zones, and there's no rush. The ticket is flexible, so you set the pace.
After Flower Dome, you pick your second stop. Cloud Forest puts you inside a 35-meter indoor waterfall, that's taller than a ten-story building, surrounded by the kind of lush greenery you'd find high up in a real rainforest, around 2,000 meters elevation. The waterfall dominates the space, and the air itself feels different in there. If you'd rather stay above ground, Supertree Observatory lifts you up into the canopy for a different angle on the gardens and the city beyond. Both are included depending on which ticket option you choose at checkout.
The 2-way shuttle runs between Bayfront MRT station (Exit B), Active Garden and Flower Dome, so you don't need a car to move between the main attractions. Flower Dome and Cloud Forest stay open until 9 p.m. (last admission 8:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively), so you can visit in the afternoon or evening. Your booking confirmation is not your actual ticket. Check your email and WhatsApp for the PDF ticket after you book.
