The experience

Seven hours on a hidden riverside property near Bijagual, Chiriqui, working directly with two performance artists who have spent their careers experimenting with presence, physical acting, and using the body as a tool for creation. Their latest work involved walking 422 miles backwards on the Camino de Santiago: a radical experiment that shaped the Same Method you'll learn here. The day starts at 09:00 with guided shadow meditation and ChiKung, moves into denoising and presence training by 10:30, and builds toward a practical toolkit you can use long after you leave.

The physical side matters: you'll swim in the Papayal River at midday, then move into a 432Hz sound bath meditation at 14:30 that winds down the intensity. Lunch is freshly prepared and served at 13:30. The day ends with group reflection where you can share what you learned, ask questions, or simply sit with a snack. You leave around 16:00. Drinks, coffee, tea and snacks are included throughout. Wear comfortable clothes and firm shoes, no flipflops, and bring an open mind. No prior experience is required.

Pickup is included in the booking. The workshop runs in English or Dutch depending on the guide assigned. The property sits in Panama's tranquil lowlands, a setting designed to support the work of presence and self-discovery the day is built around.

Is this one for you? This is a shared workshop with other participants, led by the two artists, so you're learning alongside a small group rather than working one-on-one. Choose it if you want direct instruction in a practice built by working performers, and if spending a full day immersed in presence work (including physical exercises and a river swim) fits your idea of a day well spent.
