The experience
Five hours starts with gear and a safety briefing before your guide takes you up into the Sierra Madre. Once at the top, you zipline full speed 200 meters above the river, moving between treetops with the landscape spread below. The descent itself is the core of the experience: wind, height, and the river visible the whole way down.
At the bottom, you trade the zipline for a mule. The 15-minute ride carries you through the terrain to a tequila tasting, a quieter close to the adrenaline part of the day. Water stations are spaced along the route, and your guide stays with you the whole time. Cameras are not permitted during the zipline for safety reasons.
Pickup and drop-off happen from your hotel or a designated meeting point, so transport is arranged. You'll need moderate fitness and a minimum weight allowance of 242 lbs. The activity is not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns. Minimum age is 6.
