The experience
More than 2 km of zip lines await you, with the longest stretching over a quarter-mile and reaching up to 600 feet in the air. The lines run higher, longer and faster than any canopy experience west of the Sierra Madre, crossing the Rio Cuale valley between three mountain peaks. You glide over the river far below, and the rainy season brings the greenest foliage and the most dramatic backdrop. The activity takes about four hours from pickup to return.
One line ends with a big splash into the Cuale River itself. After you finish ziplining through the jungle, a mule ride carries you from the bottom of the canyon back to the starting point, where the Mountain Pool Club is included with your participation. Round-trip transportation from the meeting point and all zipline equipment are provided. A live guide speaks English or Spanish throughout.
Children are welcome from age 6. The activity requires at least moderate physical fitness, and the maximum weight to participate is 240 lbs (110 kg). This is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health.
What’s included
- Round-trip transportation from the meeting point to the zipline park.
- all zipline equipment.
- access to the Mountain Pool Club at the conclusion.
- a live guide in English or Spanish.
