The itinerary starts at Mombasa International Airport, where a representative meets you in the arrivals hall and drives you to the airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. The flight itself is the gateway: you land at the airstrip and move straight into a game drive en route to the lodge, so the reserve starts the moment you touch down. Check in, have lunch, rest if you need to, then head out again in the late afternoon when the animals are moving. Masai Mara National Reserve holds the highest concentration of wild animals in the region: the Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino) move through the same ecosystem, and the park's own drainage system supports them year-round.

Day two is yours to shape. You can run morning and afternoon game drives from the lodge, or commit to a full day in the park with a picnic lunch, depending on how deep you want to go. The reserve's size and animal density mean the drives are not a circuit of a few stops. You are moving through active habitat where predator and prey share the same grassland. A guide in English or German travels with you and reads the landscape: fresh tracks, bird behavior, the angle of the light that tells you where animals shelter in the heat.

On the final morning, you take one last game drive before breakfast, then drive to the airstrip for your flight back to Mombasa. The lodge handles the transfer to your hotel or the airport. All meals are included throughout, and bottled water travels with you on every drive.
