The experience

The tour starts with a three-hour drive south from Amman in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Your driver picks you up from your hotel and stops at viewpoints along the route so you can photograph the Jordanian landscape without breaking the journey into segments. Once you reach Petra, you enter on your own schedule: no fixed group pace, no waiting for others to catch up. The Treasury, Petra's most famous facade, rises carved into the cliff face as you emerge from the Siq, a narrow gorge that funnels you into the ancient city.
